A dacoit was killed, and two of his accomplices escaped during a robbery attempt in Karachi, reported 24News HD Channel.
The incident took place in the Surjani Town area of Karachi.
Police officials said that the dacoit and his two companions entered a hardware shop for robbery.
One citizen noticed the situation and opened fire on the dacoit, after which he died on the spot, while his two colleagues escaped from the scene.
Police also recovered a magazine from the custody of the dead dacoit. Police also found a 9mm and a 30 bore pistol in his possession. Later, the police shifted the dead body of the dacoit to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Further investigation was underway till the filing of this report.
Two killed in Charsadda firing incident
Two people died on the spot, and one became critically injured when some armed men opened fire on their rivals due to a verbal dispute in Charsadda.
Soon after the incident, a police team reached the scene and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.
