An accused died on the spot, and two of his accomplices escaped from the scene when some accused, who were riding a motorcycle, opened fire on a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) team in Uch Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
Soon after the incident, the dead body of the accused was shifted to the local hospital for an autopsy.
CTD police said that the identification of the dead accused is still unknown. Later, police started a search operation to apprehend the culprits.
