A tragic road accident in Tehsil Pindigheb of District Attock claimed the life of a six-year-old child and left four other family members seriously injured, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the report, the mishap occurred when the car, reportedly speeding, veered off the road and plunged from the roadside.
The ill-fated family was travelling from Chakwal to Kohat when the vehicle's driver lost control due to excessive speed, according to preliminary information provided by Rescue 1122. The child died on the spot, while the injured included three women.
Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly, rushing to the site and transporting the deceased and the injured to the Tehsil Hospital Pindigheb for emergency medical care.
The injured were later identified as 60-year-old Sajjad Hussain, his 45-year-old wife, Sania, aged 32, and 12-year-old Anmol.
