Falak Shabir held an intimate yet spectacular pre-album launch celebration at Gattopardo Dubai yesterday, setting the mood for what promises to be the singer-songwriter’s third album and most talked-about releases this year, encompassing 10 song tracks.

The reel posted yesterday from the event is a glossy postcard of luxe interiors and shows towering amber drapes, velvet banquettes, sun-filled windows, along with scrumptious dishes.

Small sharing plates dominated the spread, from what seems to be burrata crowned with roasted cherry tomatoes and pesto, to a light Caesar scattered with shaved Parmesan and croutons, and a citrus-marinated potato & apple salad dressed with fresh herbs. Dessert was a signature tiramisu, dusted with cocoa and finished with a stencilled motif.

The celebration also doubled as a soundtrack preview. Falak’s recently released single “Sajna Dour”, already a viral favourite, has amassed over 1.3 million views and 400+ comments, and the mood at Gattopardo felt celebratory yet emotional as attendees listened to clips from the new record.

In the album teaser dropped on October 2, 2025, intimate footage of the real-life couple were a perfect introduction to an album whose title track, Chahat Meri, is framed as a love letter. The teaser opens with a haunting female voiceover: For just a moment, imagine your perfect life. This isn’t real — it’s only a dream. Please… wake up. Wake up. Wake up.”

As these words echo, we see Sarah Khan, Falak’s wife, sharing tender, intimate moments with him: her hand gently tracing his face, their warm embraces, and a delicate rose exchanged between them. A locket containing their photos appears, followed by glimpses of their wedding, reinforcing the depth of their bond.

When the voiceover insists, “Wake up,” the scene cuts to Falak falling backwards from a higher edge into the water below, his face turned upward toward the sky, surrendering to the world he refuses to leave.

Then a calm male voice responds: “No… I’m living in my dream.”

The teaser concludes with Falak and Sarah together again, holding each other, lost in a loving gaze. This final moment signifies that Falak’s “dream” is actually the beautiful reality he shares with his wife, a life so perfect it feels unreal, yet it’s the very place he chooses to stay.

The full album, featuring other tracks like Chahat Meri, Ashiq Tere, Allah Hu, Fake Love, Naina Tere, Hum Sab Jantay Hain, Mandiyaan 2, Hanju, and Ishq, is slated for release on November 27, 2025.

Falak Shabir is a celebrated Pakistani singer-songwriter known for romantic ballads and pop hits. He married actress Sarah Khan in July 2020, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Alyana, in October 2021. While there have been rumours and fan speculation about them expecting a second child, there has been no official confirmation from the couple.
