More than 81 cases of violence against children have been reported so far in the current academic year.

Despite several resolutions being presented in the Punjab Assembly, no clear legislation has been made for violence against school students.

Now strict action will be taken against the teachers concerned for keeping sticks in schools.

FIR will also be registered against the teachers concerned for severe violence against children with sticks.

Children are still punished with sticks in Government High School Karim Block for being late like a number of other government and private schools.
