Five more notorious bandits laid down their arms under the ongoing surrender policy and were produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Shikarpur on Saturday amid tight security.
According to police, the accused — Muharram Teghani, Karamuddin Teghani, Fareed Teghani, Shahmeer Teghani, and Gulzar Teghani — had long been wanted in multiple serious criminal cases and had remained absconding for years.
After surrendering to the authorities, the suspects were interrogated and subsequently presented in court.
Following the proceedings, the ATC ordered all five outlaws to be sent to Shikarpur District Jail on judicial remand.
In a separate case, another accused, Huzoor alias Huzoor Bakhsh Teghani, was produced before the civil judge Shikarpur, who also ordered his judicial remand.
