Islamabad High Court has ordered investigation into apparent involvement of police officers in kidnapping, forced entry into homes, robbery and framing of false cases, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani issued an order on the request of Muhammad Waqas to dismiss the case.
The court further ordered that Director Crimes FIA should form a JIT to investigate the involvement of police personnel in the kidnapping. A copy of the court decision should be sent to the DG FIA so that he can issue appropriate orders, Islamabad High Court observed. Members of the inspection team should also seek an explanation from the magistrate Yasir Chaudhry who sent the woman to jail on judicial remand, court ordered.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that the magistrate was hearing a sensitive case related to a mother and children who were allegedly kidnapped by Punjab Police personnel.
