As many as 170 government schools in Lahore have failed to meet their enrollment targets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
A final warning has been issued to school heads to complete enrollment targets by October 31.
Strict action will be taken against school heads who fail to meet enrollment targets.
Among the schools which failed to achieve enrolment target include Government High School Kot Khawaja Saeed which is short by 277 students.
Government Girls High School Jallo Mor is short by 217 student enrollments.
The list further includes Government Girls High School Mughalpura and Government Girls High School Lakhodair.
Also included are Government Kinnaird Girls High School Empress Road and Government Girls High School Gulshan Park.
Government Girls High School Ghorey Shah and Government Girls High School Governor House are also on the list.
Government Girls High School Ghaziabad and Government Girls High School Garhi Shahu are included as well.
Other schools on the list include Government High Schools at Nisbat Road, Batapur, Maraka Quarters, Ladhkay Oochay, and Chung (Multan Road).
