USA woman won a $500,000 lottery prize after taking her mother’s advice to buy a ticket during a shopping trip, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
The woman from Giles County, Virginia, was visiting a store with her mother when her mother suggested that she buy a lottery ticket.
She followed the advice and scratched the ticket at the store.
To their surprise, the ticket showed a $500,000 prize.
The woman said she immediately told her mother that she believed she had won half a million dollars.
The unexpected win left both mother and daughter amazed and excited.
The lucky winner said she plans to use part of the money to buy a new car for her mother and another vehicle for herself.
She also plans to renovate a bathroom at her home, take a trip to Dollywood and invest some of the prize money for the future.
