Two young children were killed in an alleged stabbing incident in the Gorak Bypass area of Quetta, while their mother also sustained injuries, police said.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Hanna Police Station.
According to police, the woman allegedly stabbed her two children, identified as one-year-old Naimatullah and 20-day-old Hamida.
Both children died from their injuries.
Police said the woman also allegedly injured herself with the knife during the incident.
She was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment, while the bodies of the two children were also taken to the hospital.
Hanna Police personnel reached the scene after receiving information about the incident.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
