A district and sessions court in Shikarpur on Wednesday ordered release of former federal minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur in a case relating to anti-State speeches and tweets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The civil judge hearing the case disposed of the case and ordered the release of Gandapur.
Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court in Lahore has sought a report from the police while hearing Gandapur’s post-arrest bail plea in connection with a case relating to torture on police, disturbances in Zaman Park.
The judge, who had already approved the PTI leader’s judicial remand until May 4, asked the police to submit a report on February 27.
