As many as four people lost their lives, and one became seriously injured in two firing incidents in Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The firing incidents took place in Faqira Goth SITE Super Highway in Karachi.
Rescue sources said that the dead persons were identified as Zaheer, 35; Usman, 28; Sajjad, 22; and Sultan, 17, and Usman received critical injuries.
Soon after receiving the report, a team from the Crime Scene Unit rushed to the spot and collected all available evidence from the crime scene.
The unknown accused were riding on four motorcycles. An SMG rifle, 9 mm, and a 12-bore pistol were used in firing.
The wall of a shop and its shutter were also damaged in the firing incidents. Police took custody of 12 bullets from the crime scene.
The police are trying to obtain CCTV footage from the adjacent areas. Police also started raiding different locations to apprehend the accused.
