A clerk of Government Girls Degree College Dadu disappeared after collecting fees from more than 200 students along with the enrolment record, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the details, over 200 girl students submitted their admission fees to the college clerk Zahid Panhwar, but he was transferred from his post.
The administration of the college said that they did not receive any amount under the head of admission fees from the clerk.
The girl students said that they obtained admission in BSC, PA, and other departments after submitting their fees.
Now the administration of the college refused to give them admission as no fee was deposited by the clerk. The students said that the principal of the college asked them to deposit the admission fee again.
Later, the girl students staged a protest against the negative attitude of the college administration. They demanded that they cannot afford to deposit fees again; if the relevant clerk is transferred, then this is the responsibility of the college administration to recover the amount from the clerk.
The students said that they brought this issue to the notice of the college principal, but all in vain.
The students appealed to Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah and other relevant officials to take immediate measures to secure their future.
