Two suspects arrested after police stop suspicious car at Chungi No 26 during snap checking: Boy tells police kidnappers demanded Rs100 million from his parents

Islamabad Police arrested two accused who were involved in the kidnapping of a 12-year-old, Abdullah, from Abbottabad, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Police recovered the boy during snap checking at Chungi No. 26 under the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police.
Police said that they noticed a suspicious white Honda Civic car bearing registration no. CF-513, which entered the jurisdiction of Chungi No. 26.
Two men and a 12-year-old boy were travelling in the vehicle. Police intercepted the vehicle and interrogated the kidnappers.
The police found flaws in the statements of the kidnappers. After this, the police team shifted them and their vehicle to the police station.
During interrogation, 12-year-old boy Abdullah informed the police that he was kidnapped from Abbottabad and his kidnappers were demanding Rs100 million from his parents as ransom.
Police said that the boy’s cousin Awais planned to kidnap his 12-year-old cousin because he was in dire need of the money.
The police are investigating the matter.
