A woman, whose niece was admitted to the gynae ward, told media that she rescued her niece on a self-help basis instead of a rescue team, as the nursery was housed in a building in which repair and renovation work was underway.
While refuting claims of PIMS Hospital that they rescued one newborn, she further claimed that when she was rescuing her niece, a doctor was running to save his life.
The woman claimed that the PIMS team blamed her for lifting someone else’s baby, but I assured them that it was his own niece. The woman said that her sister, who had a C-section, was facing breathing issues; therefore, she took her to the Poly Clinic Hospital.
