As fog blanketed Punjab parts, the Motorway sections have been closed for traffic, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Faisalabad to Multan, the M4 has been closed because of dense fog reduced visibly, a spokesperson said.
The official added that the M3 from Faizpur has also been shut. The authorities have urged the motorists to adopt safety measures.
The spokesperson said M2 and M5 were too closed and the people have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel.
Call 130 for any information and in case of emergency, the spokesperson said, adding that the Motorways will be opened when the visibility level improves.
