American singer Jennifer Lopez, long associated with glamorous red carpet appearances and show-stopping fashion, took a noticeably more relaxed approach to Christmas this year, choosing comfort over couture for the festive celebrations.
The 56-year-old global superstar spent the holiday surrounded by family, slipping into matching cozy pajamas alongside her loved ones.
The intimate celebration was shared with fans via Instagram on Wednesday morning, where Lopez posted a gallery of festive images, including a rare and heartwarming snap with her sister Lynda, 54.
In the photos, Lopez and her family coordinated in red-and-white striped pajamas, embracing a traditional and snug holiday look.
Several images showed the multihyphenate star posing in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, while another standout photo featured a group selfie taken by Lynda.
The candid image captured many family members seated close together, smiling for the camera, including Jennifer’s 17-year-old child Emme Maribel, all dressed in the same festive sleepwear.
Lopez captioned the collection for her 246 million followers with:

The cozy family moment came only days after Lopez was spotted spending time with her ex-husband Ben Affleck during the holiday season, an outing that quickly caught public attention.
Over the weekend, the former couple reunited unexpectedly while shopping and dining in Brentwood.
Earlier that Sunday, the 53-year-old Oscar winner was seen out with his 13-year-old son Samuel, joining Lopez for a daytime excursion at Brentwood Country Mart. The group browsed shops and shared a meal together, signaling a friendly and relaxed dynamic.
Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce in January, five months after Lopez officially filed paperwork in August 2024, a date that coincided with their second wedding anniversary. Despite the split, the two appear to have maintained a cordial and supportive relationship.
A source explained the nature of their recent outing, saying:
"They met up and went shopping together. Jen and Ben seemed fine. The focus was mostly on Sam."
The insider added that Samuel was energetic and chatty while selecting gifts, and that Lopez was attentive throughout the trip. She also reportedly picked up thoughtful presents for Affleck’s other children before the group went their separate ways, having arrived independently at the shopping center.
During the outing, the trio visited several upscale stores, including Sezane, before stopping to eat at Farmshop market.
Lopez showcased her winter style in a brown-and-white polka dot dress layered with a cream knit sweater, paired with black boots and a black handbag. Affleck opted for a casual but polished look, wearing khaki trousers with a cream button-up shirt and jacket.
When Lopez and Affleck married in 2022, she became stepmother to his three children, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Lopez is also mother to 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Despite her separation from Affleck, Lopez has continued to maintain a warm relationship with his children.
In September, she was seen taking Samuel on a shopping trip, and in October, Lopez and Affleck appeared together at the New York City premiere of their film Kiss Of The Spider Woman.

"And it's an enormously difficult - it's all these masters, so it's not edited in such a way where you can make a little mistake here and there in the dance.
It's singing and dancing and acting and also trying to hold together these multiple tones in the movie. That's just probably the maximum level of difficulty for a performer."

He continued:
