Lahore on Sunday again topped the list of most polluted cities of the world as the air quality index (AQI) in the city reached 235, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
To make matters worse, the weather department forecast no rain for the Punjab capital in the next 24 hours.
The AQI was the highest in Defence Housing Authority’s Phase-8, where it was recorded at 485.
It was 440 at Syed Maratib Ali Road; 309 at Kot Lakhpat and 258 at Shahdara.
Minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius, while it was 27 degrees Celsius on the maximum side.
