A government university bus rammed a motorcycle crushing a woman to death and injured a man in Faizabad, within the limits of the I-9 police station in Islamabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The International Islamic University Islamabad’s bus hit a motorcyclist and as a result of which the male rider was injured while the woman died on the spot.
The driver of the university bus managed to escape from the scene after the terrible accident.
The traffic police and I-9 police station personnel have started legal proceedings against the bus driver.
According to the police, they were in touch with the university administration and the driver will be arrested soon.
Meanwhile, cops from Phulgaran police station in Islamabad on Wednesday arrested a man who injured his wife with a sharp-edged weapon.
The accused wounded his wife on February 23 and escaped from the scene.
