Police on Wednesday arrested a accused who tried to snatch mobile phone from a citizen in Quaidabad area of Karachi after his family refused to give him money to buy a new cellphone, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his initial statement to the police, the accused said that he is a student of matric and was interested in making TikTok videos.
He further said that for this purpose I wanted to buy a phone but after refusal from family he decided to snatch the mobile phone.
The arrested student said that he committed this crime first time in his life. It is necessary to mention here that the student was injured as a colleague of citizen opened fire on him during retaliation.
Further investigation was underway.
