In a significant step to facilitate access to justice for deserving and underprivileged litigants, Chief Justice Alia Neelum has approved the names of 24 lawyers to provide free legal aid at Lahore High Court.
The approval was granted in accordance with the decision of the governing body of the Access to Justice Development Fund, based on recommendations submitted by the Punjab Bar Council.
According to a notification issued by the Additional Registrar (Case Management), the approved lawyers will represent eligible litigants in free legal proceedings at the Lahore High Court’s principal seat and its regional benches in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi. These services will commence immediately and continue until further orders.

Lahore Principal Seat: Inam ul Haq Pasha, Afzal Ahmed Randhawa, Danish Gul, Zahida Parveen, Sardar Bilal Ahmed, Suhail Sharif, Muhammad Naeem
Multan Bench: Muhammad Ali Butt, Muhammad Imran Saqi, Abdul Rahman Zauq, Muhammad Ameer Khakhi, Imran Yousaf Goraya
Bahawalpur Bench: Atiq ur Rehman Nizami, Majid Riaz, Farzana Yaseen, Habibullah
Rawalpindi Bench: Sheikh Abrar Ahmed, M. Usman Durani, Naseer Awan, Talha Kayani, Mohsin Ali Khan Kayani, Nabeel Alwanad, Farhad Ranjha, Usman Abbasi
Copies of the notification have also been sent to the Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad and other relevant authorities.
Legal experts say this initiative will provide high-quality legal assistance to litigants facing financial difficulties and will further strengthen access to justice for vulnerable communities.
