Nasir Iqbal calls for crackdown against drug mafia

Nasir Iqbal Khan, Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement, has said that the use of all kinds of drugs is prohibited in Islam and there was need of the hour that we should protect children from the poison of drugs. 

In a press statement, Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement said that the menace of drugs was eating out the essence of the society therefore it was need of the hour that entire society should stand up against the drug mafia. 

Nasir Iqbal said that the ghost of drug mafia should be controlled at all cost. 

He also lauded the ongoing crackdown against the drug mafia under the leadership of Brigadier Sikandar Hayat, Regional Commander of the Anti-Narcotics Force Directorate. 

He advised serious citizens to fully cooperate to make their organized operations more successful. The children of Pakistan are the future of this corruption. Every individual and class of society should play a key role in saving them from the darkness and embers of drugs. 

In a statement, Nasir Iqbal Khan further said that the deaths resulting from drug use, kite flying and aerial firing are not accidents but deliberate murders and everyone involved in these deaths deserves to be punished. The drug mafia is not worthy of amnesty, the flood of drugs should be stopped with strict and timely punishments. 

He said that the sons and daughters of Pakistan cannot be left at the mercy of drug peddlers. The state should allocate a ward in every government hospital and build modern rehabilitation centers across the country to make drug addicts healthy and useful members of the society. He said that drug addicts are our own, they should not be rejected but embraced.
