A stone-hearted stepmother brutally murdered her three-year-old daughter after kidnapping her in Wazirabad due to a domestic dispute, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources said that the stepmother first kidnapped the girl and later killed her, and threw her body on the doorstep.
Later, the police arrested the stepmother and decided to nominate her in the first information report (FIR) of the murder.
Police started a search operation to apprehend the remaining accused.
Court reserves verdict on bail of accused Kashif
An anti-terrorism court of Lahore reserved a verdict on the bail petition filed by the accused Kashif Raza in a kidnapping and murder case of a five-year-old girl.
Anti-terrorism court judge Shahid Sikandar heard the case and later adjourned the hearing until February 11, 2026.
Lawyer for the accused Chaudhary Hamdur Rehman Waseem completed his arguments on the bail petition.
The accused was also produced in the court. The court summoned witnesses of the case for recording of their statements on the next date of hearing.
The lawyer of the petitioner said that the accused Kashif is involved in the murder of a five-year-old girl Fajr.
Police said that the accused strangled five-year-old Fajr to death and later threw her body into the forest.
Police further revealed that the accused Kashif was living opposite his house and was a friend of girl’s father.
The Investigation officer (IO) informed the court that the girl identified the accused, after which the accused decided to murder her.
The IO further informed that some body parts of the girl were eaten by animals, and her blood-stained clothes and body parts were recovered.
Later, the police recovered the blood-stained clothes of the girl and her body parts from the identification of the accused.
