PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday maintained that they never got any loan written off, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Ch Shujaat said “I don’t want to comment on a case which is sub judice. “Ch Pervaiz Elahi’s son and my family member Ch Moonis Elahi, MNA, had explained our position regarding the allegations levelled by the NAB,” Shujaat added.
Talking to newsmen, he said “Such allegations are being floated in the media which are meant to bring a bad name to the politicians through mudslinging.”
Shujaat said the ‘plotters’ are just wanted to prove that they treat all the parties, whether they are guilty or not, equally. “They just don’t know how many zeroes there are in five billion.
Shujaat said the allegations against them were over 20 years old. “They vanished a number of times,” he added.
The PML-Q chief said the accusers are just trying to “sell old wine in a new bottle”.
