Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has summoned the meeting of all allied parties of the coalition government to make a strategy on the Supreme Court’s decision.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PDM chief called the meeting soon after the SC’s decision on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm in Islamabad.
In the meeting, the strategy after the decision of the Supreme Court will be decided and all the parties of the coalition government of Nawaz League in the centre and Punjab into confidence.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif made telephonic contact with Fazlur Rehman and discussed different aspects of the SC’s expected decision on the petition of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi against the ruling of Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari in the election of Chief Minister.
Former premier Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman have agreed to decide the court of action of the PDM after the court decision. They also agreed to organize and strengthen the PDM in Punjab.
Later, Nawaz Sharif also made telephonic contact with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and advised him to activate party workers and PDM in Punjab.
