The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) anti-money laundering team has arrested former Punjab chief minister and PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s gunman Chaudhry Muhammad Zaman, who was also Pervaiz’s cash boy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Zaman allegedly was also the business partner of ex-chief minister’s wife Sara Anwaar.
Police had arrested Zaman in February 2023 when he was allegedly supplying wine to Sara.
The FIA has said it has obtained important evidence by conducting the forensic of Zaman’s cellphone.
