According to report, only essential AC and lights are being used in the Punjab Assembly.
Electrical equipment has been completely switched off in the Punjab Assembly.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan has already announced that he will not take any benefits and salary.
Petrol of the committee chairman has also been reduced by 70 percent while that of senior officers by 50 percent.
There will be a monthly saving of Rs700,000 to Rs1 million petrol.
About 50 percent rotation-wise duty roster of assembly employees has also been issued.
