The Establishment Division has issued an official office memorandum directing all federal officers from grades 17 to 22 to undergo medical examinations and submit their reports within specified deadlines.
According to the memorandum, officers serving in ministries, divisions, departments, and other federal institutions must complete the medical assessment, which will form part of their official service records.
Officers from PAS, PSP, OMG, and the Secretariat Group are required to submit their medical reports by March 31, while officers from other service cadres and groups have until April 30 to comply.
Focal persons have been appointed at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and other polyclinics to facilitate examinations for officers based in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The move aims to ensure the health and fitness of senior federal officers, with complete medical records to be maintained in official service files.
