In yet another instance of water aggression, Pakistan has reported marked reduction in the inflow of water in River Chenab entering its territory from India, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the latest statistics compiled by WAPDA, the inflow of water in the river at Head Marala came down by 66 per cent on Thursday.
Consequently, the inflow of water at Head Marala dropped to 6,200 cusecs, while the outflow of water recorded at the site today was zero cusecs.
The inflow of water recorded yesterday was 18,300 cusecs, while the outflow stood at 12,100 cusecs.
Hence the inflow of water recorded today is 12, 100 cusecs less than what was recorded yesterday.
On March 24, the inflow of water at the site stood at 13,900 cusecs, while same figures were reported three days back.
The outflow of water recorded at Head Marala in River Chenab three days ago was 8,100 cusecs.
