A girl was shot dead by unknown gunmen who entered her house and opened fire on her while she was praying at night in Attock, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The incident took place in Pindigheb area of District Attock.
Father of Zaib-un-Nisa filed an application stating that her daughter was offering prayers at night and her husband Akmal went outside to purchase bread.
When her husband returned, he found his wife’s blood-strained body lying on the prayer mat.
Later, the local police reached the site and shifted the dead body to a local hospital for autopsy.
Local police registered a murder case on behalf of the victim’s father, Riaz, and began their investigation from different angles.
Later, the dead body of the girl was handed over to her heirs for burial.
