Two people were killed on the spot when some unidentified persons opened fire on them in Bajaur and fled away from the scene, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Monday.
The firing incident took place in tehsil Salarzai of district Bajaur.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, Station House Officer (SHO) of Salarzai Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for post-mortem.
Local police and Salarzai Qaumi Lashkar cordoned off the entire area and established check-posts to apprehend the culprits.
Further investigation was underwway.
