Lahore Qalandars not only etched their name in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history with a third championship win but also secured a massive financial reward, as they were awarded $500,000 (over PKR 140 million) for clinching the PSL 10 title.
In a thrilling final held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday night, the Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators in a last-over nail-biter to become PSL champions for the third time, following their victories in Seasons 7 and 8.
The victory not only earned Lahore Qalandars the trophy but also brought in a substantial cash prize of half a million US dollars.
This reward is equivalent to more than PKR 140 million, underscoring the commercial and professional scale of the HBL PSL.
Meanwhile, the runners-up Quetta Gladiators were awarded $200,000 (over PKR 56 million) in prize money.
