A minor boy was killed while saving his mother from getting electrocuted in Karampur area of Pattoki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police said that the woman had been shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital.
The Force elaborated that the incident took place when the woman touched a wire dangling in the house.
