Several students appearing in MDCAT exam have complained that they were not allowed to enter various examination centres in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to students, they reached the examination centre after completing the relevant documents, but were not allowed to enter due to a few minutes' delay.
There is a fear that all their hard work will be wasted due to the indifference of the administration.
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 was held across the country today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), as many as 140,125 candidates from across the country participated in the exam.
An international centre was also established in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As many as 33,000 students are taking part in the MDCAT examination in Karachi, Central Incharge Dr Sharjeel de-sealed MDCAT papers in Dow Campus of Karachi.
The Medical and Dental College Admission test is also commenced in Lahore. Examination centres were established in the Township, Gulberg and Model Town. Section 144 was also imposed in the provincial metropolis due to the MDCAT.
In Larkana, more than 3,000 students appeared in the MDCAT examinations being held in IBA Centre in Sukkur for admission in Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Larkana.
As many as 1153 students are appearing in the MDCAT examination at Khawaja Farid University, Rahim Yar Khan. Section 144 was also imposed in Rahim Yar Khan due to the examination.
