A woman breathed her last when her husband and his brothers opened fire on her in the house in Kandhkot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The tragic incident took place in the village of Mohammad Pannah Khoso in the jurisdiction of Section B Police Station Kandhkot.
Soon after the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the woman to the hospital for a post-mortem. The woman was later identified as Farzana Baro.
The heirs of the victim said that the post-mortem of the dead body was not conducted due to the unavailability of a lady doctor.
The accused escaped from the scene soon after the incident.
The heirs of the woman demanded that the relevant officials arrest the culprits immediately.
