A ship came reportedly under a drone attack near Ras Al-Issa Port in Yemen on Friday night.
At least 27 Pakistanis are trapped on the ship, according to 24NewsHD TV.
The ship caught fire after it came under the drone attack between the night of September 16 and 17.
The ship was on its way to Yemen to drop cargo from Tehran, Iran. After fire broke out, the port administration pushed the ship back into the sea.
The stranded Pakistanis appealed for help from the ship. They said they came to Yemen to dispatch cargo. They said the ship had been on fire for several days after the drone attack and they were living in very bad conditions.
They said that gas was continuously leaking from the ship and they were not even able to contact their families back in Pakistan. They appealed to the media to “be our voice and support us”.
