Rising actress Aena Khan has stepped into the shoes of Mahira Khan by portraying the younger version of her character in the period drama Mitti De Baway.
Aena plays the younger Bilqees Bano, popularly known as Billo, bringing the character’s early years and innocence to the screen.
Her performance has definitely drawn attention for capturing the qualities that associate with Mahira’s portrayal of the character.
The actress has been rapidly making her mark in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
She made her television debut as Haya Pasha in the popular Ramadan drama Fairy Tale in 2023, which brought her considerable recognition among younger viewers.
She later appeared in projects including Dil Pe Dastak, Khwabon Mein Mili and Fasaana Mart Ka, taking on different characters and continuing to build her acting portfolio.
With Mitti De Baway, Aena has now taken on the challenge of portraying a younger chapter of a character later played by one of Pakistan’s most recognisable actresses.
