Four policemen who were performing their duties as constables were dismissed from service for taking extortion money from drug sellers and taking illegal advantages in Sanghar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanghar Shahnawaz Chachar issued the dismissal orders after conducting a thorough inquiry.
During the inquiry, the allegations against the dismissed police constables were proved true.
The dismissed police constables were later identified as Constable Abdul Qayyum Malik, Shahnawaz Bagrani, Constable Imran Ali Brohi, and Helper of 15 Abdul Wahab Jafri.
SSP Shahnawaz Chachar directed to adopt zero tolerance policy against violation of discipline and rules and regulations.
He said that an accountability process in the police department will continue.
Later, the police issued the photographs of dismissed police constables on WhatsApp groups.
