Two suspected robbers were killed while one was injured in an exchange of fire with police near Ghazi Steel Mill on Sibi Road in Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV.
According to police, the suspects were attempting to commit a robbery when police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. Three suspects were injured in the ensuing exchange of fire, while two of them succumbed to their injuries during treatment, police said.
Two police personnel were also injured in the firing, according to police.
The deceased suspects were identified as Shafiullah and Noor Ahmed, while the injured suspect was identified as Zaheer Ahmed.
Police said three pistols and three motorcycles were recovered from the suspects.
