The Indian government, which has gone berserk after the Pahalgam attack, has asked the farmers in villages bordering Pakistan to cut their wheat crop in two days, clearly in another attempt to whip up war hysteria, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that announcements had been made from the loudspeakers of a gurdwara in Rorranwala Khurd, a village in the Indian state of Punjab, in which farmers were asked to cut their wheat crop.
Defence experts, on the other hand, have said that such announcements clearly indicate that PM Narendra Modi has gone berserk.
They have further said that if India starts a conventional war, even it will not remain safe.
The experts have said that if India starts a war, it will end on Pakistan’s terms.
As many as 26 people, almost all of them tourists, were killed when some gunmen opened fire at a hill station of Pahalgam in the Indian held Kashmir on April 22.
The incident led to widespread outrage in India, and the Indian government did not waste time holding Pakistan responsible for the attack.
This it did without first investigating the incident.
Although there are some sane people in India who are calling for restraint, it is still the BJP, whose extremist ideology holds sway.
Addressing the passing-out ceremony at Kakul Military Academy on Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered India Pakistan’s cooperation for a joint investigation into the attack.
However, this did not go down well with India either as the country kept whipping up the war hysteria.
