Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar on Sunday had a telephonic talk with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the Foreign Ministry spokesman, the FM discussed with Yi the current situation in the region, especially arising out of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 people in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Dar, the spokesman added, in his talk with his counterpart, rejected the allegations levelled by India that Pakistan was involved in the incident that took place in Pahalgam.
He also praised China for its cooperation and steadfast support for Pakistan.
Both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation for peace and security in the region.
