A festive wedding ceremony turned into a scene of tragedy when a man lost his life due to aerial firing in Ghotki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The sorrowful incident occurred in the Kacha area of Andal Sundrani, Ghotki. The deceased was identified as Abdullah Sundrani.
According to police, a case has been registered and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances and the individuals responsible for the fatal firing.
It is worth noting that earlier, on April 22, 2025, Ghotki witnessed another tragic incident when four members of a family, including two women, were gunned down in a targeted attack due to an old enmity.
That attack took place in a village near Khanpur Mehr, and all victims belonged to the Korai tribe. The deceased were identified as Gulsher Korai, his wife, brother, and mother.
The series of tragic events has left the residents of Ghotki mourning and alarmed over the rising incidents of violence.
