Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati on Monday to discuss the evolving situation in the region, the Foreign Office spokesperson said.
According to the spokesperson, the two leaders exchanged views on the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of diplomatic engagement in addressing ongoing challenges.
During the call, the Egyptian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s efforts and its continued role in promoting dialogue and strengthening diplomatic relations. He acknowledged that Pakistan’s engagement remains significant in fostering regional understanding.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also briefed his Egyptian counterpart on his ongoing coordination with various regional and international leaders aimed at supporting diplomatic initiatives.
Both sides emphasized that sustained communication and close consultation are essential for ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond, reaffirming their commitment to continued engagement.
