PSL playoffs to begin April 28 as top four teams confirmed

Peshawar Zalmi finished at the top of the standings in the Pakistan Super League season 11 with 17 points, securing a direct place in the qualifier, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.  

Islamabad United claimed second position with 13 points, while Multan Sultans ended third on 12.

Hyderabad Kingsmen secured the fourth and final playoff spot with 10 points, edging out Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings on superior net run rate.

The playoffs will begin on Tuesday, April 28, with the qualifier in Karachi featuring table-toppers Peshawar Zalmi against Islamabad United.

The winner will advance directly to the final.

The first eliminator will be played on April 29 in Lahore, where Hyderabad Kingsmen will face Multan Sultans in a knockout clash.

The second eliminator is scheduled for May 1, also in Lahore, between the loser of the qualifier and the winner of the first eliminator.

The tournament final is set to take place on May 3, bringing the competition to a close after a closely fought league phase.
