Three persons were killed Saturday and one injured in various incidents in the Neelam Valley, Azad Jammu Kashmir, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.
According to the reports, a woman swept away in the river in Kel valley while catching timber. Another person who was trying to save her also fell victim to the flood relay. The body of the person, whose name is yet to be ascertained, was taken to postmortem.
Rescue operations have been started to search for the woman.
The district administration directed the citizens to stay away from rivers and streams. Section 144 was imposed for catching timber from the Neelum river.
In another incident, one person died after being hit by a stone in Dudhaniyal area. One person was injured in stone pelting in Kharigam, a village in Neelum Valley.
