As many as four people, including a woman and a girl, lost their lives due to different landslides and roof collapse incidents in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
A young man died after the roof of his house collapsed in the Khari Sharif area of Mirpur. The traffic on all roads remained suspended due to landslides.
In another tragic incident that took place in Chichian Mor at 3 am, a young man identified as Ahmad, 32, died as his house was completely destroyed due to landsliding.
In a separate incident in Bhimber Garha Naka, the house of Zulfiqar was completely damaged as the roof of his house collapsed, and another house collapsed due to heavy rain in the Bashar Garha area of Azad Kashmir, in which one woman and a girl died.
Residents of the area retrieved the dead bodies on a self-help basis.
