Islamabad Airport has increased its parking fees, causing frustration among passengers, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the channel report, the initial three-hour parking fee has been raised from Rs90 to Rs120.
Beyond the first three hours, the hourly parking charges have also been revised.
Passengers will now have to pay Rs 70 per hour instead of the previous Rs 50.
The sudden increase has led to heated arguments between passengers and parking contractors at the airport.
Many travellers complained that the hike in parking fees has added to their difficulties, especially for those receiving or seeing off family members.
