The PTI leadership is totally confused these days as the orders of the former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan have not been properly conveyed to the political committee, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that the PTI founder had ordered the party MNAs to resign from the standing committees of the National Assembly (NA), but the committee, in haste, announced resignation from the standing committees of both Houses of the parliament.
Sources also informed that most of the members of the PTI’s parliamentary party had advised the committee not to follow the orders of the former prime minister immediately, saying leaving standing committees vacant would deal a severe blow to the party.
Moreover, they added, there were serious reservations within the party over the nomination of Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas as leaders of the opposition in the NA and Senate.
MNA Asif Khan resigns
