Pakistan’s women’s cricket team has stepped up preparations for both the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and their home series against South Africa.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a women's cricket training camp for the national squad will begin in Lahore on August 29.
The women cricketers are scheduled to report to the training camp on August 28, with full training commencing the following day.
South Africa’s women’s team will arrive in Lahore on September 12 to play a three-match ODI series. The matches are scheduled for September 16, 19, and 22.
Following the conclusion of the series, Pakistan’s women’s squad will travel to Sri Lanka to participate in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The mega tournament will be held from September 30 to November 2 across India and Sri Lanka.
Under the fusion model adopted by the ICC, Pakistan will play all its World Cup fixtures in Sri Lanka.
