During the hearing of petitions regarding the recovery of four missing persons in the Sindh High Court, it was revealed that one of the missing persons was involved in setting fire to the house of Provincial Home Minister Zia Lanjar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
In this regard, the police informed the court about the arrest of the accused, Abdul Latif.
Police submitted to the court that Abdul Latif is not missing but is arrested in Moro in the case of burning the house of the provincial minister.
However, the court disposed of the petition regarding the recovery of a missing citizen from the Orangi Town area.
Muhammad Irfan, a missing citizen from the Malir Cantt police station area, has returned home, police told the court, and the court disposed of the case on the police report.
The lawyer of the petitioner has taken a plea that Noor Muhammad and Abdul Qadeer have been missing from the city area since 2012.
No progress is being made regarding the recovery of missing persons, the lawyer of the petitioner said.
However, the court sent the matter regarding the recovery of both missing persons to the Missing Persons Commission.
